Where I Park Near Rethymno Old Town
When I drive into central Rethymno, I use Parking Venetian Harbor. The entrance is on Leoforos Emmanouil Kefalogianni, on the waterfront between the central bus station and the Fortezza area.

Municipal parking near Four Martyrs Square

The large parking area at Sofokli Venizelou 23 is on the eastern side of the centre. Choose it for the marina, city beach and seafront promenade. It is also possible to walk to the Old Town, but it is less convenient for the Fortezza than the Venetian Harbour car park.

Free parking exists around the edge of the centre, but availability is unpredictable in summer. The main areas used by visitors are:
